Modernist Desk in Oak and Tubular Metal,
Henri Lancel (Attr;)
France 1950
Bureau in blond oak and black lacquered tubular iron legs, attributed to Henri Lancel, France, 1950. Trapezoid-shaped pedestals have on one side two drawers, one lockable, and on the other an open storage space. The tray is slightly hollowed out in the center, for the sake of ergonomics. Dynamic, rational, the modernist design of this office fits in the heart of the French fifties and gives it an extraordinary presence.
Very beautiful state.
