Exceptional lounge chair with a tubular metal frame and covered in green moleskin, signed Dupré and Perrin, Paris, France 1930. Design attributed to Maurice Barret, interior designer and member of the UAM (Union of Modern Artists). The footrest and one of the armrests are removable to provide easy access. A clamping lever allows the user to adjust the inclination. The frame (formerly nickel-plated) has been cleaned and patinated, the revised lifting system is perfectly functional. This unique piece is very comfortable and in a good original condition.
