Dominique André Domin (1883 - 1962) and Marcel Genevrière (1885 - 1967), rare "Clémenceau" stool produced by Maison Dominique especially for the Clémenceau aircraft carrier.
Quadripod base made up of fins in black lacquered aluminum sheets, joined under the seat by a flexible X-shaped spacer, rubber clogs at the base, seat covered with a piped green plastic-coated fabric. (seat height from 30.5 to 55cm).
This furniture was specially designed in aluminum foil for the Admiral's dining room in the Le Clémenceau building in order to be resistant and non-flammable.
Superb original condition, black bronze lacquer.
