Marcel Gascoin (1907-1986), "Trèfle" stool in solid oak, Arhec edition, French Reconstruction 1950. On a tapered quadripod base, Marcel Gascoin has a seat in two parts evoking the shape of a clover.
Father of rationalism, major player in the period of the fifties, Marcel Gascoin trained all the new guard, such as Michel Mortier, Pierre Guariche, Jacques Hauville, Alain Richard or Joseph-André Motte.
Iconic object of the French style of the fifties, this stool is part of the collection of the Museum of Decorative Arts in Paris.
