Modernist Oak Table
French Reconstruction, 1950
Table in solid oak, France 1950. The top, reinforced by four cross-sections, has a central drawer sliding freely on both sides.
The design of the base in the form of a compass, the use of blond oak, its gathered and dynamic line give this work of French reconstruction a remarkable presence, to be compared to the creations of Marcel Gascoin, Jean-rené Caillette or even Pierre Jeanneret.
