Convertible Table
Marcel Gascoin
France 1950
"Bridge-Repas" table made of blond oak, created by Marcel Gascoin, produced by ARHEC, France 1950. One of the French Reconstruction's icons (1945-1955), this 4 seater table turns into a 6 seater round table. The top pivots and blocks the four petal shaped extensions. Nicknamed "Marguerite" (daisy), this table is the result of Marcel Gascoin's research on rationality and modularity. Very good condition.
